\"\"<\/a>Can you believe we are heading into 2011?\u00a0 Imagine that!\u00a0 It seems that every year goes by faster than the previous year.\u00a0\u00a0 Somehow, there is an exponential factor to time\u2026 the older you get, the faster time passes.\u00a0 Not fair!<\/p>\n

I will say that over the years, I have become very much aware of time\u2019s tricky ways and how quickly it can slip through your grasp.\u00a0 It seems that it was Y2K just a short while ago \u2013 and now, it is the end of 2010.\u00a0 I am now 10 years older \u2013 and my kids have become teenagers and young adults.\u00a0 Where did the time go?\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The end of the year and the end of a decade are great times to reflect and think about what you have done, what you wish you had done and where you want to go.\u00a0 This week, my blog will focus on \u201cMy Top 10 Career Lessons of the last decade\u201d.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Here is my list \u2013 in order from #10 to #1 \u2013 and I will elaborate on each of these points during the week:<\/p>\n

There is no right or wrong \u2013 it is simply my own personal list<\/em>.\u00a0 Over the next few blogs, I will share stories about each of these \u201clessons learned\u201d.\u00a0 \u00a0It is my way of trying to understand the events that shaped my career over the last decade and they provide some guideposts and direction for \u00a0my year ahead.<\/p>\n
