Mom is hiding from the picture taking as Rachael, her daughter, is giving Santa (Dave Davis) her December 2013 Christmas gift list.<a href=\"https:\/\/svapm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Dave_Davis1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-12237\" alt=\"Dave_Davis1\" src=\"https:\/\/svapm.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/Dave_Davis1-150x142.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"142\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here are Dave&#8217;s strategic meeting planning suggestions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Begin with the end in mind and document what is intended outcome of this meeting stated in both objective<\/li>\n<li>and emotional terms<\/li>\n<li>Pull stories or narrative from audience on what these future outcomes look like<\/li>\n<li>Ensure stories are stated in benefit terms and not activities<\/li>\n<li>Document which factors influence these benefits<\/li>\n<li>Identify who dis-benefits from these benefits or the intended changes<\/li>\n<li>What are risks associated with achieving these benefits which keeps the conversation from degrading to risks associated with the activities needed to get there<\/li>\n<li>Be politically astute by mapping \u00a0energy exerted by the proposed changes e.g., what sentiment, attitudes, moral is aiding or resisting the change and<\/li>\n<li>Focus on member, client, or customer perspective to keep it outward focused and stop group think<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a facilitator\u2019s dream list of questions.\u00a0 Thanks Santa for this early Christmas Gift!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Signs and times are confusing.
